Freefalling

Tomorrow is the first Sweet Youth Group meeting…. =/

Reminds me of a time in Costa Rica… We were swimming in a river next to a 60 foot
bluff. Some of the kids were jumping off at various heights, 10, 20 or 30 feet
above the water. Yet, if you wanted to you could jump from the top of the
bluff, only you had to make sure you landed in the 20 foot circle of clear
water below. Jump a little too far or too short and you’ll hit rocks.

Standing at the edge, you wonder why your there and what possessed
you to want to jump. At the encouragement
of your buddies, you jump and enjoy one of the biggest rushes in life. Freefalling
into the water depths…

Ay, it’s like a new ministry. You’re standing at the edge
wondering why and then God walks up besides you and says, “Let’s go. I’m with
you.”

So goes life
